Field Notes

Description:

When I arrived at the Currituck Park I spotted this adult Bald Eagle perched on the roof of the pink building in the center of the park. Its back was to the east. Sunrise was 15 minutes earlier. When it left, it flew northwest over the Currituck Sound. (These photos were taken far away with a long lens, to minimize disturbance to the bird.)
