This is an orchid and looks a lot like a Schomburgkia. They're also sometimes called Myrmecophila because they have hollow pseudobulbs which are used as housing by several species of ant. I don't know if they all are, but some are fire ants as botanists collecting these plants have discovered to their cost. This could be S.tibicinis but it's difficult to tell without the flowers and I think there are a few other species in Mexico. Cracking spot! It's certainly getting some sun. In cultivation the pseudobulbs tend to be green!
