Description:

The blackfin of the western atlantic is one of the smaller tuna, averaging less than 10 pounds with a maximum weight of approximately 42 pounds. Out is renowned more for delicious flesh than for it's sporting qualities, and large amounts of this fish are taken by blue marlin as well as commercial fishermen.

Habitat:

The western atlantic ocean

Notes:

The front dorsal fin of this fish actually folds into a slit in it's back.
