Field Notes

Description:

Creamy white growths on the side of a log, running in groupings of about 3-4 ft.
Much of the mass is nearly flat, with som scalloping that protrudes about 1 inch.

Habitat:

Hardwood forest; primarily poplar, maple, oak.
