Welcome to Project Noah! Lovely first spot! I have never seen a polyphemus moth but I do have 3 cocoons in one of my maple trees & I'm keeping my fingers crossed I get to see the actual moth in the spring!
Nice first spotting. I've changed this from Other to Arthropods and added it to the Butterflies and Moths of the World Mission for you.
