Description:

A came across this stray dog on an Island just off of Singapore, he looked very hungry and sad, so I shared my lunch with him.

Love the looks dogs give when the want some of your food - irresistable.
I agree this should not be in 'Pets' - moving it to mammals.
Hey Karen, yeah I guess he has plenty of visitors with all the tourist, maybe he is an expert undercover dog. He is probably not stray at all and just merely looking sad for loads of free food!
Poor thing - though he may have perfected the sad look to use around animal lovers with food! :)
Thanks Daniele :) He was a very sad dog, I think ID will be very hard as he is definitely a cross breed of some kind. I will leave him as 'dog' for now if that is ok? Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for sharing this story Sean. Nicely shot as usual! We normally put dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) in the Pets category and not Mammals, but I think that in the case of a stray it should stay in Mammals. See what other rangers/users may have to say
