Phyllomedusa sauvagii Waxy Monkey Leaf Frog http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waxy_monkey_frog The eye coloration could be a genetic thing, I have seen several pictures of this type of frog in the last few minutes and some seem to have wide variations in the eye color. I very well could be wrong about the species, however, this is the closest I have found.
It is quite an interesting frog to say the least. Yeah they do look like they had a bit of something they shouldn't have. LOL I am really curious as to what species it is. I was thinking it might be in the Litoria family, however the fingers and toes don't quite match up to anything I have seen so far.
i came across these really neat looking frogs in a pet store...there actually quite big and funny to look at because they just sit there and look like they just had a little "smoke" session with some funny stuff...lol
I have no idea what species this is, however this is an amazing shot! The eyes are especially intriguing! Was this something you saw at a Zoo, or a frog that you have as a pet?
