Potted non flowering plant. Leaves are purple and greenish in color.

Yeah, I know. My mother had a similar one for about 15 years before it flowered. I don't think they flower often in cultivation but they do flower. Here is a similar one. http://www.flickr.com/photos/40295335@N00/3089494851/
@Dandoucette You said these do flowers but we have 3 plants of same kind and none of them blossoms and it's a long seen observation !!!
Actually these plants do flower. They don't do flower often and the blooms are small but they still flower.
