Description:

A dragonfly is an insect it is know by its large multifaceted eyes and its two pairs of strong transparent wings, Dragonflies possess six legs (like any other insect), but most of them cannot walk well. Dragonflies are some of the fastest insects in the world.
Dragonflies are valuable predators that eat mosquitoes, and other small insects like flies, bees, ants, wasps, and very rarely butterflies
dragonflies are found all over the world and vary in size, color and weight.
a species that is very simular is the damselflies the bigest difference is that most damselflies hold their wings at rest together above there back or held slightly open above

Habitat:

They are usually found around marshes, lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands because their larvae, known as "nymphs", are aquatic beings
