Field Notes

Description:

slow worm, slow-worm or slowworm. It is also sometimes referred to as the blindworm or blind worm.

Habitat:

Slow worms are semifossorial (burrowing) lizards, spending much of the time hiding underneath objects.

Notes:

I find that it looks like more the species in Greece (Anguis cephallonica , black and gold), but the is less chance that it's the greek one.
