Not only did you find this, which on its own is amazing, but you also got to see the baby shark hatch! Wow!
As an egg case of a shark or skate, I'll move this over to fish for you.
was hiking the cliff walks and i climbed down one of the cliffs and found it washed ashore...looked freshly hatched-maybe dislogded when shark swam out, then egg washed up, current very strong on the cliffs........
looks like a "Skate" egg case. :-D really neat find!
