About 1/4 inch long.

Habitat:

Spotted on goldenrod bordering an open field and wetlands.

Notes:

Geometer moth?

After poking around on bug guide a little bit I found this http://bugguide.net/node/view/188/bgimage?from=24 So I'm a little more convinced it's a geometrid moth.
No Hema Shah I don't. Most of what I spot is pure chance. I don't know that it's a geometer. It's similar in size and shape to an inch worm, so I'm wondering if they're related. I spotted something that I think is the same species as this one. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/731216003 Sorry I can't help. Thanks for the kind words.
