Description:
The leaves are flat but curved, so they appear fleshy from above, but they are actually thin. Stems and leaves pink to green, clustered flowers/flower buds under the leaves. I believe this to be Polygonum minimum, though potentially not yet documented in Kodiak.
Habitat:
Rocky beach near the mouth of the river, so they likely get some saltwater inundation on occasion
