Field Notes

Description:

Uniform yellow background wings, with diffuse sharp-bordered light and dark maroon patches. One will notice the fleshy backward foldings on the fore wings. This can be compared with a similar spotting of mine at: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/397712832.That one doesn't posses foldings. Wingspan: 48mm.

Habitat:

Sub-urban building surrounded by bamboo and other mixed forests. Lots of natural spring waters in the area. Cool to warm place. Altitude: about 1,700m.

Notes:

Are the two spottings different sexes!
