Now this is only a GUESS, so please don't take it as gospel. :-) From what I can see, this is a decent starting point. Thanks to Cindy for steering this to the Orgyia genus.
Hi mohicanoutdoorschool1961, this is a species of Tussock moth. I'm unable to definitively say which species with this one pic but I'm guessing it's from the Orgyia genus. Perhaps another member can add to it :)
