Field Notes

Notes:

Last winter, in March ,we saw the first examples of Great Tit... no tail !
I thought it was an accident, but in the next day I saw another, then another ...I thought is the same but after I watched more carefully and I saw four individuals in the same area, had no tail -and that did not seem to bother him is doing great in flight and landing.

Very interesting Doina! And as usual the photography is outstanding (I particularly like the first one with the snow flakes). I wonder whether it occurs frequently... look at what I found on a French language birding site: http://boulesdeplumes.forumactif.com/t734-mesange-charboniere-sans-queue
