They are really spectacular palms..hope to see more wildlife from your yard!
Great eye! That is a nest in a Bismarck palm I have planted in my yard. In fact, these birds have various nests in my yard. The have nested in various "Guacimo" trees, The Bismarcks, and even a Plumeria! These have become permanent members of our yard. We have two acres and only cut the trees down for the home. There are approximately 400 trees on the lot. We have a plethora of wildlife here.
Is that a nest? Seems like a weird location for one.
