The students took this photo when they were working on trail ID's last year. I am a volunteer a few hours a week helping the students use computers and we decided it would be fun to have an afterschool club. They have all made some cool imovies as well. We are a public school and would love to have more students in our school.
Great shot! What an unusual shape for an Aspen. I love it! Was this one of your students photos?
So are you the tech teacher...public or private school? If you grow a garden, you'll find tons of organisms to take pictures of. Really neat...keep up the good work!
We have 3-2nd graders, 5-3rd graders and 5-5th graders who are so excited about project noah. They stay after school on Tuesday for Technology Club and all they want to do is add, comment and favorite sites and be citizen scientists. They take their own photographs and lately bringing their home cameras in to add items. They really love it!! Unfortunately it is hunting season so they can't go into the trail behind the school.
Cool tree...I'm so glad you are doing this...I was thinking of doing a PN site for my students. Do they take the pictures or just find the organisms? Little kids have great spotting ability!
