Description:

The plant is Bogbean or Menyanthes trifoliata, but who is it's friend? The zoom in is not great but worth a punt perhaps....

Habitat:

Between trees in saturated soil in wooded wetland.

Wow, just when you've forgotten you ever posted a spotting....! Thanks Leuba :) I don't think it's Oedemera nobilis due to the brown colour of this beetle. There seems to be some kind of spot pattern too but it's not a good shot of the beetle. I 'm just curious to see what visits (and maybe pollinates) the Menyanthes.
