Description:

Species of milkweed featuring small red- and yellow-orange flowers. Milkweed is a host plant for several types of insects, including the Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus).

Habitat:

Landscape planting in Hollin Hills, a residential community located in Fairfax County, Virginia USA.

Notes:

Photos 1-3 (of 4) are very similar. I couldn't decide which photo is the best one, so I decided to upload all three photos!
