Looks very similar to my pet red-tailed boa constrictor.
for us in costa rica...is a boa, very commond in here....
The family Pythonidae is not found in the Americas. There is a possible relative of the pythons from the Australian/New Guinean region (Morelia and Aspidites), Loxocemus bicolor, but this spotting does not in any way resemble it. So I am interested in the answer to Sean's question too!
Its a Python but sure which one. Try Burmese Python? Was this in the Zoo or Wild? it will help with the ID
