Field Notes

Description:

Ear shaped chanterelle type mushroom. Growing on pine roots in otherwise sandy downslope. Clusters sharing the same root. Largest was about the size and shape of an adult human ear. More grey than brown.

Habitat:

West central georgia

Notes:

Don't want to eat it, just want to ID it.
