Wonderful capture! You should add this to the Portugal diversity mission.
hey thats brilliant , thank you :D i have been over the web site and it looks amazing!
Hi wish it was my job... all the time. But I also sit down and write - a lot- about photography. both in Portuguese - www.fotodigital-online.com - and in English (http://www.pixiq.com/contributors/ja). You can also find some articles from me monthly at Manfrotto School of Xcellence (http://manfrottoschoolofxcellence.com/?s=jose+antunes&lang=en). You will find more images from Tapada. Also check here... http://joseantunes.artistswanted.org/. Most of the animals in the articles you can read, you will find at Tapada. Although the Tapada is great the whole year round, the best time for a visit is during Spring, between end of March and end of May. Then from the end of September until late November, with the Fall colors, it's fantastic. Check the images at the Tapada website frontpage. I've a workshop there this Saturday. We'll start it at 7am, while is still dark, so people can have the experience of seeing the first rays of light. And there's a country Guest House inside the area, so you actually can stay there for the night and wake with the animals. Hope this helps. JA
WOW! it looks incredible! thank you for sharing it. , you have such a good job. I will definitely mark it on my to do map. would you say spring time is best to visit? april may or later?
Hi as far as I know yes.Since 1750 that Kings used to hunt deer and wildboars and various bird species at the same place that now is a nature park. Check www.tapadademafra.pt, there's a page in English with info. I run phototours and workshops there.
