Field Notes

Description:

Branches are thorny, the leaves are a distinct pale silvery-green, lanceolate, 3-8 cm long and less than 7 mm broad. It is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants.

Habitat:

Usually found near the coast forming thickets on fixed dunes and sea cliffs.

Notes:

Berries are often used to make fruit juice, fruit wine or used as ingredient for liquour as well as jam. The fruits have a very high Vitamin C content, on average exceeding the Vitamin C contend of lemons and oranges multiple times.

Hi Meik, You may have inadvertently uploaded the same spotting which you previously uploaded on Sept 22. If it of the same plant, at the same location ,at the same time, then i would suggest that you delete the Sept 22nd spotting. This due to Project Noah's rule about "one spotting only once".
