Description:

This beautiful spider was building it's web in plants just outside the door to Gilma's house in Costa Rica. I haven't seen a green one before! It looks like a Orb Weaver, though they all seem to have slightly different colourings and markings.

Tetragnathidae, Leucage sp. and most probably Leucage venusta, from the details I can see a full dorsal body shot would confirm Venusta. http://bugguide.net/node/view/2010/bgimage Same one as this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/74486042
