Description:

Shrub with thorny branches, mostly 2-3 meter high. Pinnate leaves with toothed rims.

Habitat:

Often grown as hedges along fields.

Notes:

The fruit is known for its high vitamin C content and is used to make syrup, tea and marmalade.
