Description:

Adults are brightly coloured while the juveniles are plainer grey with a small orange patch and a white bill with black tip.

Habitat:

Coastal lagoon

Notes:

When the juveniles stay with the main flock they tend to stay at the edges.

Great shots Malcolm, and interesting location! France is not a place I associate flamingos with. Love the shape of flamingo necks, and the first picture is really cool with the line of them all in the water :)
