fabulous to hear that is is surviving and apparently thriving!
the birds survives quite fine on it's own, this was a female, the male was normal. They were captured by some researchers, weighed, measured, "ringed" (photographed) and released.
So does the bird survive in the wild on its own without pigment or is it supported by humans? I notice someone is holding it and have never seen a bird like that.
