thank you for your compliment! we have a lot of ixoras planted as ornamental bushes here in singapore too but this one is a sole tree about 4m tall and the flowers (the red ones in the picture) look a lot like powderpuffs. however, they are not powderpuffs either due to the difference in the structure of their leaves and the size of the plant/tree itself. thank you for your effort anyway! i really appreciate it. :)
i agree, Sachin Zaveri! and i am sure the olive backed sunbirds who frequent this tree find it beautiful and fantastic too! :)
For the first picture, looks like a young flower. And if were planted at garden, it makes greater possibility for I coccinea due to their beautiful flower, here in Indonesia also frequently planted as ornamental. Btw, good photos with green dark background!
They are all features from the same tree. and i dont think its a bottlebrush because the flowers aren't elongated. the leaves are different too. it looks more like a powderpuff but they still look different in terms of the flower and leaves. thanks for the effort though lynne.
Each different topic should have it's own page Your second picture looks like a Rubber Tree plant and your third picture like our Poinsettia
