Agapanthus is commonly known as "Lily of the Nile", but it is not a lily and all of the species are native to South Africa from the cape to the Limpopo River (Wikipedia)

Yes, Craig, I think you are absolutely right. I am amazed to discover how many foreign plant species can be found here in Brazil, and how widely spread they are. And yes, many of them can be considered invasive species, since they are growing in the wild. I'll add the information you ask for in my spots. Good idea Craig.
By the way, I'm not sure exactly how these 'Flowers of.....' missions are supposed to work, but it might be worth noting that Agapanthus are South African. Where this could get really interesting, is if people note whether a plant is cultivated in a garden setting or seen in a 'natural' area. Then it could help build up a picture of garden escapes and invasive species.
