Habitat:

Growing on deadwood, deciduous tree stump.

Species ID Suggestions

Looks like Turkey Tail Mushroom

Trametes versicolor

@Michelle: not a problem, I'm thankfull for every suggestion. @Vlad: you're right, the color seems not really fitting for sulphur polypore. I went back to that place to check again but the mushroom was gone. However, it revealed that there actually was a tree stump underneath.
Looks like Laetiporus Sulphureus, but the color is not right...
OOPS... I suppose this makes me guilty of not reading all the info on the suggestion! It looked like one, and I just assumed... I'll read better next time! :-)
Michelle, thanks for the hint. However, trametes grows on dead wood and are usually not so fleshy as this specimen was.
