Description:

White mushroom about 4" tall found in the woods behind the Chebeague School.

because of the location, i don't believe it's in the psilocybin family of mushrooms. Most mushrooms that are considered to be in the Magic Mushroom family do not grow in the Northern Zones.
I think this mushroom is from the family of magic mushrooms, that are used as a drug by many people becuase of the quimical compound it has.
looks like Amanita ocreata "Death Angel" However, I am not a mushroom expert by any means. The location and the skirt around the stem are the indicators that I am looking at.
