Description:

Berries are black and glossy, leaves a dark green.

Habitat:

Mixed woodland, mostly spruce and beech. Growing under half shady light conditions.

Notes:

Deadly poisonous!!!
Medicinal use:
A. belladonna has been used in traditional treatments for centuries for an assortment of conditions including headache, menstrual symptoms, peptic ulcer disease, histaminic reaction, inflammation, and motion sickness.
Nowadays it finds use in homeopathy as an agent against symptoms of flu (e.g. fever and headache).
