Description:

It was sleeping until we pulled up and stopped to admire it. Then woke to see a dove next to it further down on the wire.

Thanks thats what I though it was but I wasn't sure. I have seen red tails in this area. Heres a better pic of one that shows the red tail in the same area http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7606335
Red-tails come in "light," "intermediate," and "dark" color morphs. I think this is a light juvenile.
