Field Notes

Description:

Only managed 1 shot of this fly, then I knelt on a twig which snapped, and it flew off. Hopefully Shanna got better shots. It had beautiful coloured spots on its back.

Habitat:

Seen on trip a to the Boondall Wetlands with Neil Ross and Shanna Bignell.

Thanks Shanna... Yes I was lucky because I only got the one shot before kneeling on a twig that snapped, and it flew away!
Oh, nice shot Pam. I'm not sure that I have one better than this! :)
