Description:

The woodchuck is Minnesota's largest squirrel. It is stocky, with short ears, short legs, and medium-length, somewhat bushy tail. It has salt and pepper fur. The woodchuck is also called a ground hog.

Habitat:

Spotted near South Tamarac Lake in an open area near woodland of both coniferous and deciduous trees.
