Philippine endemic species

Habitat:

Found on stones and vegetation near a creek that flows from a waterfall in Mount Apo

Notes:

Spotted while doing transect mapping in Batasa, Makilala, North Cotabato, Philippines.

It's the Philippine endemic Euphaea amphicyana, hands down! What a wonderful spotting. It looks very similar to E. subcostalis and E. subnodalis, but the slight metallic emerald tinge at the end of its hind wings together with the location of where you took the pic of this damselfly (not a dragonfly), gives it away as E. amphicyana.
