Field Notes

Description:

Small bird, about 15 to 17 cm and 30g of weight. Black head, wings and tail. Brownish upper tail and wings bar.

Habitat:

Laurel forest - S. Miguel - Azores

Notes:

In 2003 the priolo population was estimated in 400 individuals. Priolo is an endangered species.
