Field Notes

Description:

A small apple green damselfly with black thoracic stripes and blue tipped yellow tail.

Habitat:

Found among vegetation along the banks of ponds, rivers, canals and estuaries; found away from water-bodies also.
These are found in Asian and Australian regions. Also found in remote oceanic islands probably carried by air currents.

I agree, this is probably not Ischnura aurora, since this one should have a full golden body, your's body is partly aellow and black.
But Sumukha it is for me Senegal Golden Dartlet (Ischnura senegalensis)
