Habitat:

Meadow on our property in the Poconos.

The caterpillar survived 12 1/2 inches of snow on October 30th. But then it was very warm out for many days. Amazing!
Amazing they are still around in November..is not too cold in there yet?
Thanks again Karen. November, and the meadow still has a few secrets to uncover. Caterpillars are great to photograph, they don't fly away. LOL
Nice shot - I love the detail of it's legs gripping the stem!
