Field Notes

Description:

Brown and red striped legs with design on "butt." Under its abdomen there was a really interesting marking but could not get picture.

Habitat:

I have had many of these this fall on the corners of the house and porches

Thanks everyone! Shew yes I did catch myself a little too close for comfort. I guess it is kind of "desensitizing" me, lol.... At this point I was just getting creeped out looking at the pics I took let alone the ones from bugGuide
Great pics!!!! If you are afraid of spiders, it is quite brave to get this close to them!!! Eventually though, like me you will learn to appreciate them and not be so afraid. This site has taught me to overcome a couple of fears, by wanting to capture things in picture that I would never have previously thought!! Keep up the awesome work!
I know you, so I know these pics took a lot of nerve. Hehe, great job!
