These ants were moving this dead beetle in two pieces, the body and head across some undergrowth at the back of the beach

All credit to the ants who provided the entertainment .. I have a little Panasonic Lumix Angelzero2006 that I love. Never go anywhere without it.

Thanks Craig! I know it's a bit yukky but I could'nt stop watching these ants. I think I took just over 100 photos in total as they manoeuvred this beetle along the beach. Incredible teamwork!
