Description:

Young Praying Mantis (Empusa fascuata)

Habitat:

Mountain scrub land.

Notes:

This Mantis has been hunting close by in a small shrub for the last few days, catching insects from time to time. Believed to be a young Mantis. The third photo shows the Mantis eating it's freshly caught prey. The catching action was incredibly quick.
