Field Notes

Description:

jelly fungus - rubber like texture, 3-7 cm long, between 2-4 mm thick.I saw straight, bent or curled specimen, some flat spiky or still round at the top. Some ( apearently matured) had a white top. The color was bright orange and faded into a fainted yellow.

Habitat:

very mossy with long grass at the edge of a little bush. because i couldn't find much about hm , and what i found is from west-europe i suspect this fungus i only here native: germany,dutch,belgium...etc.

Notes:

1 -3 pic. - bent,curled and white topped specimen ----
4 pic - a line of straight specimen ----
5 pic - from the side (with 2 specimen on which i stood before i was aware of the find, luckily they wasn't broke, just pulled out so i could use them to take a sideshot ---
6 pic - exactly one week later i found this discolored specimen ---
this fungus is on the "red list of dutchs mushrooms" as " vulnerable theatend".
