Description:
A medium size honey colored leaf beetle with irregular dark lines on the elytra. This belongs to a small genus of leaf beetles distinguished by enlarged leg joints.
Habitat:
On eucalypt in a nature reserve.
Bunyip NP.
Notes:
Faex refers to faeces and is the singular form of term. Some beetles cover their eggs in faeces or maybe someone thought it looks like rabbit droppings. Who knows?
