You're very welcome! It definitely looks a lot like a fence lizard, but the habitat and range you found it in led me to think it was more likely a scrub lizard. I only knew about these lizards because I worked in Florida parks and had to learn their MANY herp species! It is definitely the most diverse state in the US in terms of reptiles & amphibs, and the list keeps growing!

Nice spotting! The scrub lizard is much less common than the fence lizard, and endemic to Florida. It is currently listed as "near threatened" due to habitat loss.
