Yes different type of plants also like family and Genus, specie. Second picture id of Nymphaea nouchali means Purple Lotus a Herb plant. First picture Nelumbo nucifera means Giant Lotus a Climber plant.

WOW these are stunning... but I think these photos are of two different kinds of lotus. Each spotting should be of just one kind of organism, so if you could delete the second photo and upload it as a separate spotting that would be great :D Then you'd have two beautiful spottings! I hope someone can ID these for you, I don't know plants that much, but there are some users on here who really do.
