Field Notes

Description:

Indian elephants have smaller ears, but relatively broader skulls and larger trunks than African elephants.

Habitat:

Indian elephants are native to mainland Asia: India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Malay Peninsular, Laos, China, Cambodia, and Vietnam. They inhabit grasslands, dry deciduous, moist deciduous, evergreen and semi-evergreen forests.

Notes:

I spotted this in Mudumalai National Park. I'm not sure what the cause of death was.

Emily, KarenL is right. I think you have to talk to peter about taking your mission to the global level.
Emily, your mission is a local one so you should only be adding spottings within the 300 mile mission range in the central US.
