Description:

Palm leaved evergreen tree with long narrow leaves, about 25 ft. high

Habitat:

planted in a garden near the ocean, amongst shore pine and Sitka spruce.

I don't know a lot, but it looks like an ornamental yucca. Could be a start for positive identification...
