Description:

Beautiful gold and orange mushroom with white warts.

Habitat:

Pacific northwest rain forest beside an old logging road. Fir, hemlock, bigleaf maple, red alder and a ground cover of sword fern and moss.

These mushrooms were found beside the Clayburn Creek trail. The trail is really an old logging road running between Auguston and Straiton Road in Abbotsford.
Was this at Buntzen Lake or Hayward Lake or where? Fantastic find and photo!
